Importing a PhotoBooth Movie into iMovie

1. Open PhotoBooth and click on the Movie icon. Record your movie.

2. Drag the movie to your desktop.

3. Click on the image and then click on the name and rename it- “xxx.mov”

4. Open iPhoto and choose “No” for the two questions it asks you.

5. Click on the word “Close” in the tutorial window that pops up.

6. Go to File/Import to Library and find the movie you created on your desktop. Click Import.

7. Open iMovie and choose “Now” to load your project thumbnails if asked to do so.

8. On the lower left side of the iMovie screen, click on “iPhoto Videos.”

9. Your movie image should show up in the bottom panel.

10. Drag the image into the top panel where you want it to go.
