Week 7: Collage
The theme for this weeks lessons is collages based on the artist Reggie Laurent . Play the videos and then open the presentation for the remainder of class. The presentation has information, directions and reference images. Students will use black construction paper, colored paper scraps, glue, scissors and construction paper crayons. They will take their art home.

The presentation has information, directions and reference images. Students will use black construction paper, colored paper scraps, glue, scissors and construction paper crayons. They will take their art home.
*Unless otherwise noted, students should use start in pencil and then color. They will take home their artwork. When finished, they may draw on the back or have 1 sheet of free draw paper (manilla or copy). Paper typically used for sub plans can be: 5 x 8 index cards, copy paper or 9 x 12 manilla paper, although specific paper may be provided. Coloring materials typically used (unless otherwise noted): crayon, marker and/or colored pencils. No sharpies unless noted. No paint should be used. If a student wants to use scrap paper, glue sticks and scissors to make alternative project, that is up to your discretion. Colored pencils may not be sharpened in the electric sharpeners.
