 About me...

    This is my fifteenth year teaching at the Syracuse City School District.
I want people who visit my website to know that I absolutely love teaching;  I want  all of my students to leave my classroom with a plethora of reading and writing skills, technology integration skills, and  hands on learning experiences both in and out of the classroom.
    
 I also teach  a New York State Recognized Program of Excellence called Cultural Voices.  The course has been transformed each year through my eleven year partnership with Dr.
Gretchen Lopez, Syracuse University's Intergroup Dialogue Program Director along with innovative, dedicated, and skilled doctoral students. Throughout the course, students explore racial awareness and many facets of identity, dialogue versus debate communication skills, community service and much more.
