Creating a budget

This lesson will help students develop a budget that is in sync with the type of future lifestyle they wish to live.

Teacher Introduction

· Mathematics, Life Skills, grades 6-8.

· Students will be able to choose a career and the appropriate salary.

· Students will research the costs for purchasing a car.

· Students will research finding a house.

· Students will calculate percents.

· Most importantly, students will see just how difficult it is to live an extravagant lifestyle.
