This page contains resources related to the Suzuki TL1000R ECU. Development would not have been possible without help from down-under...Many thanks "Stocky" !!!
The TLR uses the same OBD pinout as the GSX-R and you can find instructions on making an OBD adaptor in the "OBD (bootloader) utilities" section of this site...
If you're interested in using the Flash Tool, you should first build the adaptor and try reading your ECU. Then if everything goes well, you can decide if you want to get a flash/erase license. All the OBD software on this page was designed for a KKL VAG-COM USB OBD cable equipped with a CH340 chipset. Cables that use the FTDI chipset are not recommended and may not work.
The Yoshimura Advanced Fuel Management System (YAFMS) or Yoshbox and the Teka SFI both use an analog interface to adjust the FI fuel trim and save these values to the ECU's non-volatile ram (NV ram). Flash tool version 4.2 will now allow you to read the 512 bytes of NV Ram data directly from the ECU, and the NvrEdit utility can be used to modify the fuel trim settings or reset them to stock factory vaues...
Here's a list of the ECU's we've dumped with the Flash tool so far:
