If you're looking to test whether your GSXR or Busa 16bit ECU can be reflashed via OBD, check out the "GSXR 16bit OBD Flash tool v4.2.doc" Flash tool manual below. If you're interested in using the Flash Tool, you should first build the adaptor, try reading your ECU and get or develop the RomRaider definitions. Then if everything goes well, you can decide if you want to get a flash/erase license. All the OBD software on this site was designed for a KKL VAG-COM USB OBD cable equipped with a CH340 chipset. Cables that use the FTDI chipset are not recommended and may not work. The Yoshimura Advanced Fuel Management System (YAFMS) or Yoshbox and the Teka SFI both use an analog interface to adjust the FI fuel trim and save these values to the ECU's non-volatile ram (NV ram). Flash tool version 4.2 will now allow you to read the 512 bytes of NV Ram data directly from the ECU, and the NvrEdit utility can be used to modify the fuel trim settings or reset them to stock factory vaues...
Have successfully tested a prototype in-harness adaptor that allows the ECU to accessed without removal, but this is still in the testing stage...
