My love of learning has pushed me out of the classroom (for a time) and put me back in a students' chair. I love education, and feel like education is the great for our time. I adore people, dead people mostly, and learning about the lives of explorers, revolutionaries, and regular people who found the courage to go beyond their difficult circumstance to achieve something great and noble. Over my four years of teaching, I developed a great love for the world and the people that live in it. I'm fascinated by religions, cultures, and people who are unique, and enjoy seeking out commonalities among all people.
Personally, I am grateful to have a beautiful wife, Stephanie, my two fun and energetic kids, Bennett and Emery. They make it exciting to come home each night. Together we love to read good books, hike all over the beautiful state of Indiana, and camp. My wife was a kindergarten teacher for five years before she quit to be a full-time stay at home mom (which she loves). We enjoy the gift of education, both our own and the education profession we've been a part of!
