Modern World History

Course Description

This course involves the study of specific civilizations and historical events ranging from the Renaissance through World War II. We will use primary resources, secondary resources, artwork, timelines, maps, and diagrams to build each students understanding of our world’s modern historical narrative. Each student will be responsible for completing daily reading assignments, worksheets, papers, journal writing, and current event assignments. Assessment will be based on the completion of daily homework, quizzes, note taking, chapter tests, and several other varieties of historical judgment.
