Mr. Cook

Mr. Cook

"My goal is to build community through music and to better the lives and cognitive abilities of students by helping them to develop and improve their musical skills."

Office Location: Skyline High School Room 2529B

The benefits of musical training are limitless and, if taken seriously, can be an investment in your child’s future. Playing a musical instrument is the equivalent to an intense full body work out for your brain and has been proven to increase cognition. Music is a universal language that helps to build strong bonds between people of diverse backgrounds, beliefs, and cultures.

Check the class pages for important documents, files, dates, and assignment information. Skyline Chamber Orchestra audition information and materials are located on the String and Chamber Orchestra pages. Feel free to contact me with any questions you may have in regard to my classes and I look forward to working with you all.

For access to all assignments and playing tests, please log in to your music first account. The link to access Music First is located below.
