Service Projects & Events

The Moyra McCain Memorial Foundation loves hosting and participating in local service projects and events.

"Don't Wish For It. Work for it!" That was one of Moyra's favorite mottos and she lived it. Moyra worked hard to keep a full load of honors classes at Franklin Community High School; work an after school job at Canary Creek Cinemas, which she loved; care for her many pets and 4H animals in preparation for one of her favorite weeks of the year, Fair Week; keep up with a full competition dance schedule while sneaking in a little studio time for some improv; and still found time to volunteer as an assistant dance instructor; volunteer in multiple community organizations, and always make time for her family and friends when they needed her.

The Moyra McCain Memorial Foundation strives to work as hard as Moyra did in order to keep her passions alive through community service and volunteer work. We hope this effort can be seen throughout our community as we strive to live by her moto.
