COVID 19 Diaper Drive

Our most recent fundraiser was our Covid 19 Diaper Drive which has allowed us to provide over 38,000 diapers to families in need throughout our community. These diapers were distributed through partnerships with community service organizations such as Better Together, Interchurch Food Pantry, local School districts, Kic-It, The Refuge, Together Johnson County, and a group of Moyra's closest friends and family members who happily distributed diapers weekly during at various community events.

We are now continuing our efforts to provide diapers to families in need. Please visit the Covid 19 Diaper Drive page to learn more.

Rock Around the Block

Rock Around the Block is our annual fundraising event which includes a 1 mile dance path, loving referred to as Moyra's Mile where multiple studios across the community come together to encourage participants young and old to "shake their groove thing." The 1 mile event starts at the entrance to Province Park (1 Caisson Drive, Franklin) with a rock painting station that encourages participants to decorate rocks with inspirational messages and images. Participants then continue on their way through the park and towards the courthouse where they encounter several stations each with the opportunity to learn choreography to an new inspirational song. As they dance their way along the path, each individual leaves a rock creating a path of inspiration and friendship throughout our community. The dance caravan ends downtown at Young's Creek Park with everyone's favorite lines dances and finishes up just in time for the Franklin Fall Festival. The purpose of this event is to promote Moyra's passions of friends, fun, 4-H, and of course dance! The entry fee is waved for all dancers and 4-H members. All proceeds go towards dance scholarships and 4-H sponsorships.
