2023 Awards

     In 2023, the family and friends of Dennis Overbay awarded $1,000 scholarship in his memory. Dennis was a lifetime member of the Mossyrock Community, a graduate of Mossyrock High School and was a constant presence around town, he especially enjoyed sporting events.

     These generous scholarships were provided by the following families and organizations through the Viking Scholarship Fund:

Marshall Huntting Endowment Fund - $43,700.

Viking Fund - $28,800.

Betty & Bill McDaniel Memorial - $20,000.

Van & Janet McDaniel Family Charitable Trust - $20,000.

Helen Belcher Memorial - $3,500.

Martha Huntting Memorial - $2,500.

Bill Nelson Memorial - $1,000.

Dennis Overbay Memorial - $1,000.

Lewis County A.B.A.T.E. - $1,000.

Dluhosh Memorial - $600.

Williams Memorial - $300.

Hegg Memorial - $300.
