$121,375. WAS AWARDED TO THE 21 WELL-DESERVING 2022 GRADUATES OF MOSSYROCK HIGH SCHOOL WHO APPLIED FOR SCHOLARSHIPS THROUGH THE VIKING FUND.
In 2022 we awarded a special scholarship in honor of Gary Stamper, a long time teacher and girls Basketball Coach who lost his life to Covid in 2021. One of his most notable accomplishments was winning a Girls Basketball State Championship. At the time of his death he was serving as a Lewis County Commissioner.
A $2,225. scholarship in Gary's name was awarded to Teaguen Weise, not only a senior girls basketball player but also a scholar, who graduated from Mossyrock High School and Centralia College with an AA. She plans to pursue an accounting degree.
