    • 宇田川誠一（日大医）：Minimal surfaces in the anti-de Sitter space

      • In the literature of theretical physics, minimal surfaces in the anti-de Sitter space AdS_{5} are studied from the points of views with respect to the AdS/CFT correspondence, which asserts an equivalence between 4-dimensional supersymmetric gauge theory and superstring theory on anti-de Sitter space. The relation between gluon scattering amplitudes and minimal surfaces in anti-de Sitter space is a new example of this correspondence. In this talk, we study an oriented spacelike minimal surface in the anti-de Sitter space H^{3}_{1} (=AdS_{3}). We consider and reconstruct an example of such minimal surface which is already known in the literature of theoretical physics in terms of the twisted loop group formalism.

      • ３次元平坦トーラスの種数3のコンパクト向き付け可能極小曲面を考える。３次元平坦トーラスの格子を伸ばしたり縮めたりして平坦トーラスの変形（SO(3,R)とhomothetyの作用では、別物と見なし９次元パラメーターを持つ）を考える。応じて極小曲面の変形がどのように引き起こされるか、は興味ある問題である。最初の極小曲面が非自明なヤコビ場を持たない時は確かに平坦トーラスの変形に応じて、その極小曲面は変形（9次元パラメーターを持つ）する。特に、MeeksのLemmaより、最初の極小曲面が埋め込みであれば、その変形も埋め込みとなる。とすれば、極小曲面の変形空間は9次元多様体（特異点がある？）と考えられる。1990年MeeksはSchwarz' P-surfaceの9次元変形空間（ここではMeeks' familyと呼ぶ、対応する極小曲面は、すべて埋め込みである）を与えている。注意すべきは、Meeks'familyに含まれない極小曲面としてH-surfaces, Schoen's Gyroid, Lidinoidがある。これらも別な変形空間を作っていることが分かる。これら変形空間の境界に対応する極小曲面を考え、limitと呼ぶ。この講演ではMeeks' familyのlimitの分類を与える。更に、すべてのlimitの分類を考える。この研究は、佐賀大学 庄田敏宏氏、岡山大学 藤森祥一氏との共同研究です。

    • Katrin Leschke (Leicester University)：Integrable system methods for minimal surfaces
      • Minimal surfaces, that is surfaces with vanishing mean curvature, are amongst the surface classes best studied and understood. One of the reasons for this is the fact that a minimal surface in 3-space is the real part of a holomorphic function into complex 3-space, and thus the classical notions and facts from Complex Analysis can be used in the study of minimal surfaces. On the other hand, harmonic maps into appropriate spaces give rise to integrable systems. In particular, integrable system methods can be used to investigate surfaces given by harmonicity. For example, constant mean curvature (CMC) surfaces have harmonic Gauss map and the associated family (for non-vanishing mean curvature) has been used to classify all CMC tori as meromorphic functions on an auxiliary Riemann surface given by the associated family, the spectral curve. In this talk, I will explain how some tools from integrable systems, i.e., the associated family and its dressing, give rise to well-known concepts of minimal surfaces. In particular, this indicates that results on minimal surfaces may be special cases of a more general integrable system theory for conformal immersions. This is joint work with K. Moriya.

      • (1) 複素射影空間 CP^n(4) 内の実超曲面 M^{2n-1} について、Mから複素 2-plane Grassmann 多様体 G_2(C^{n+1}) への「ガウス写像」 g を考える。このとき、一般の実超曲面については g は immersion となるが、M がHopf 超曲面、すなわち、M の構造ベクトル場が主曲率ベクトルであるときには、g(M) はG_2(C^{n+1})の四元数ケーラー構造について、半分次元の全複素部分多様体となることがわかる。
      • (2) 複素双曲空間 CH^n(-4) 内の実超曲面 M^{2n-1} については、MからC_１^{n+１} 内の不定値複素 2-plane のなすGrassmann 多様体 G_{1,1}(C_1^{n+1}) への「ガウス写像」 g を考えることができる。M がHopf 超曲面のときには、g(M) は G_{1,1}(C_1^{n+1}) の半分次元部分多様体であって、G_{1,1}(C_1^{n+1}) の「パラ四元数ケーラー構造」について、g(M) は(1)の場合と同様の性質を持つが、それはMの「Hopf 主曲率」\muの値によって３つの場合に分けられる。さらに、G_{1,1}(C_1^{n+1})の自然な「neutral 計量」からg(M)に誘導される計量は、一般に非退化とはならず、その符号は M の主曲率から定まる。特に、g(M)の誘導計量が非退化で、|\mu|<2 (resp. |\mu|>2) のとき、G_{1,1}(C_1^{n+1})内でg(M)は「パラケーラー」(resp.「擬ケーラー」)部分多様体である。

    • 長谷川和志（金沢大）：ツイスター正則なアファイン曲面と射影不変量
    • Kazuyuki Hasegawa (Kanazawa University): Twistor holomorphic affine surfaces and projective invariants
      • 接続の与えられた偶数次元の多様体へのアファインはめ込みで，ツイスター空間への写像（ツイスターリフトという）を持つようなものを考える．主に，はめ込みの定義域が曲面の場合を考えるが，このようなはめ込みに関して，射影不変な量・性質がいくつか定義できる．ツイスター空間上に自然に定義される概複素構造に関してツイスターリフトが正則であるとき，アファインはめ込みはツイスター正則であるとよぶが，これは射影不変な性質である．これら種々の定義は，リーマンの場合と同様であり，（リーマンの）ツイスター正則な曲面に関しては多くの研究があるが，アファインの場合の状況は必ずしもリーマンの場合と同様ではない．例えば，リーマンの場合，ユークリッド空間内のツイスター正則な曲面は，法接続が平坦なとき平面また球面の一部となるが，このようなことはアファインの場合は一般に成立しない．本講演では，リーマンの場合には出てこないような例等も紹介しながら，ツイスターリフトを持つアファインはめ込みに付随する射影不変量やツイスター正則なアファイン曲面に関する結果を説明する．
