The Ranch "El Capulin" it was a property of Maria Jesus Mera Perez Vda. (widow) of Monroy. Crops on the ranch were alfalfa, fruits trees like Apples, Pears, Peach. At the edge of the field with the boundaries with the adjacent land there wer several trees "capulines" (prunus serotina), hence the name of the ranch.
In this ranch was the house of the Maria de Jesus Mera viuda de Monroy. Lands was irrigated by small canals feeds by a big canal. Tula river feed this big canal.
Rafael bought other land the ranch "El Godo" near to San Marcos but in the south rim of the river. El Godo is really the name of some hill, desertic hills in the south of San Marcos. This ranch was along the "camino real" (main road) from Tula to Mexico, and it was the road used by the indigenous in San Lorenzo, called "Bonchitos"
