Angélique (Angie) Pipier
Angie did her PhD in Toulouse, in the lab of Sébastien Britton and Patrick Calsou, under the supervision of Dennis Gomez. She has an extensive experience in DNA damage, notably the DNA damage triggered by alternative DNA structures (chiefly G-quadruplexes, or G4s) and related ligands. She joined the group in Sep. 2021 to decipher the rather complex biology of three-way DNA junctions (TWJs).

Sandy Raevens
After a Bachelor's degree in chemistry obtained at the University of Lille, Sandy did her M2 internship in the team of Drs. Carine Masquéfa and Cindy Patinote at the IBMM, Montpellier (FR) working on the synthesis of heterocyclic compounds for fighting against pancreatic cancers. During her PhD, Sandy will be in charge of the design, the synthesis and the study of smart TASQ-based ligands (from the MultiTASQ series), to study stress granules in collaboration with the Weizmann Institute of Science (IS).

Jérémie Mitteaux
Jérémie did his academic curriculum in Versailles (FR) before moving to Paris where he did the same M2 than Pauline, i.e., the Master of Therapeutic targets and Molecules. He did his internship at the Institut Pasteur in the team of Dr. Fabrice Agou, head of the platform of chemogenomic screening. During his PhD, Jérémie will have to assess the biological and functional relevance of DNA junctions.

Marc Pirrotta, Technician
Marc is an ICMUB technician responsible of the chemistry labs (supply of material, chemicals, etc.). He is carrying out a research activity in the GATTACA lab, performing all routinely used biophysical experiments (FRET-melting, etc.) and love to talk about.. W. A. Mozart and the (very very long) story of the clarinet!!
