What has surprised you about Moms Club?
How quickly it can turn into real friendships. I expected it to mostly be about finding things for the kids to do, but I’ve been surprised by how much I’ve enjoyed having a community of moms who just get it.

What’s your favorite family tradition or activity?
I love our family movie nights. Getting cozy, picking a movie, making snacks, and just hanging out together is one of my favorite things.

What is something you miss about life before kids?
Being able to leave the house without packing approximately 47 things.  😂 And honestly, just having the freedom to make spontaneous plans.

What are some of your favorite movies?
I love Disney movies, especially the nostalgic ones, and I’m always up for a good fantasy or adventure movie. The Nightmare Before Christmas, Tangled, and Peter Pan are some favorites.

What was your first car?
1989 Park Avenue Buick… 😂

Have you ever met anyone famous?
Not that I’m aware of…

What is your favorite ice cream flavor?
Mint Chocolate Chip or Dark Chocolate.

What is the most random thing in your purse right now?
Probably something that absolutely does not belong in a purse, most likely a kid-related item that I forgot was in there. 😂

What’s the most rewarding part of being a mom?
Watching my kids become their own little people. Seeing their personalities develop, watching them get excited about things, and realizing that I get to be there for all those little moments is probably the best part.

What has surprised you about Moms Club?
Everyone is so open, inviting, and flexible (important to me since I work full time!)

What’s your favorite family tradition or activity?
Anything related to fruit-picking (apples, blueberries, rasberries, strawberries, pumpkins, etc.)

What is something you miss about life before kids?
Traveling, especially the National Parks and northern Europe.

What are some of your favorite movies?
The Conjuring, Hocus Pocus, The Exorcist  (I'm a huge fan of horror movies 🧟)

What was your first car?
Black, Nissan Rogue, named Maximus.

Leonard Nimoy

Two Scoops' Cookie Dough 

What is the most random thing in your purse right now?
Costco check

What’s the most rewarding part of being a mom? Seeing the world through Emma's eyes as she grows into a kind, curious, spirited human being. 

What has surprised you about Moms Club?
Learning about myself that it is ok to have friends for “seasons.” Some friends come and go quickly, some friends stay forever in your life. MOMS Club has given me both. 

What’s your favorite family tradition or activity?
Cinnamon rolls for breakfast every Thanksgiving snd Christmas morning. 

What is something you miss about life before kids?
Unlimited trips to Disneyland - we lived about 10-15 miles from the park and had annual passes. We’d go after work for dinner and a ride. 

What are some of your favorite movies?
Interview with the Vampire, Titanic, Wild Hearts Can’t Be Broken, and the entire Conjuring universe. 

What was your first car?
A beautiful blue Saturn SL1 that I had for a couple of months before my brother-in-law totaled it. Then I got a beautiful blue Saturn Ion. Loved that car!!

Have you ever met anyone famous?
Wil Wheaton - happens to be the brother of a good friend of mine - he’s such a down to earth guy - and a huge nerd! I have a funny story involving him and a magic trick I did, ask me about it sometime!

What is your favorite ice cream flavor?
Ben & Jerry’s Chunky Monkey

What is the most random thing in your purse right now?
A pair of earrings with three dice on each earring. I wear them when I play Bunco and forgot to take them out of my purse. Oops!

What’s the most rewarding part of being a mom?
Seeing my kids make friends (and boyfriends/girlfriends) and making genuine connections with them because of their compassion and authenticity. 

What has surprised you about Moms Club?
How comforting it is to spend time with other moms experiencing this season of life 

What’s your favorite family tradition or activity?
Making (and eating) chocolate lasagna for Christmas but 4th of July at the lake is a close second 

What is something you miss about life before kids?
The silence lol!

Rent, Legally Blonde, My Sisters Keeper, The Grinch

The moments when I notice my kids making a good choice. Seeing they’ve learned something I’ve tried to teach feels so good.

How genuinely kind and caring so many people are, and how quickly the members will rise up to help a family in need. 

What’s your favorite family tradition or activity?

Going to my in-law's lake house for the fourth of July and going apple and pumpkin picking in the fall.

Sleeping

Adult movies: Practical Magic, Rocky Horror Picture Show, and the Lord of the Rings Trilogy

Kids movies: Smallfoot, Kpop Demon Hunters, Mulan, and Hercules

Seeing my kids grow, seeing their personalities shine through, and learning their interests. They are each so different, but also have some similarities.
