Main House

This large house has 9 bedrooms.

The porch has a bike rack, a place to sit, and plants.  Out front residents plant vegetables in a garden established in 2009.  Thus one can pick a fresh tomato on their way into the house for dinner, during part of the year.  The Kitchen is huge with 3 stainless sinks and refrigerators. The kitchen served meals to the whole coop a sometime in the past, yet now it feels a bit odd for just 9 residents. Whenever cleaning gets neglected, this is a lot of kitchen to clean. The large utility room in the basement is often a site for recycling items, repairing lamps and such.

All rent payments can be dropped off in the box at this house as checks or money orders.  Cash is not accepted.  The business office is in the basement.

Some history perspective:

The living room has been the site of many conversations, and quiet study time.  No AC is needed to feel comfortable by the S facing windows of this this room year round. Tiles in front of the closed fireplace have the letters "IMC" because our Articles of Incorporation descend from the Independent Mens' Coop based in this 1890 House. After the UMN became an entirely coed institution, IMC joined with Keda, Ekklesia, and a temporary rented house further from campus to form Minnesota Students Co-Op, Inc.

We want organic gardening and native plant enthusiasts.

Someone who can get images of each bedroom back into the table after the GoogleSite conversion messed everything up would be nifty.
