Organizational Assessment. I am often asked to perform an assessment of the organizational structure of a financial institution for various reasons - sometimes regulator-mandated. Although, each engagement is tailored to meet the particular needs of our client, we often perform the following:
- Complete an objective assessment of the company through organization-wide employee interviews and review of business, operating and financial reports to determine key strategic issues that could impede attainment of vision and mission.
- Review company current organizational structure including business line and functional reporting relative to company strategic focus.
- Develop optimum organizational design that is in line with and facilitates the company strategic directives, giving consideration to business focus, strategic vision and mission, core competencies of management and overall culture.
- Counsel CEO on positioning and organizational design of non-traditional lines of business such as insurance and investments.
