Mark provides clients with expert advice in financial and strategic advisory services. Mark brings 25 years experience as a senior financial executive and consultant specializing in strategic planning, financial management and analysis, process improvement, and project execution and corporate governance and leadership. Mark has been instrumental in bank turnarounds. He is also skilled in strategic planning, asset/liability management, consolidation and merger planning and execution. In addition, Mark has provided litigation support and consulting for real estate bankruptcies, banking failures, and insurance company fraud investigation.
A skilled and innovative leader, Mark is particularly adept at aligning teams towards a sound vision and effective plan execution. His experience as a corporate planning and finance executive has led to the creation of results oriented and high performing finance functions in organizations. He has served as project leader for growth, profitability, and process improvement initiatives for banking companies.
Mark was formerly Chief Executive Officer of George Washington Savings Bank in Orland Park, Illinois. His career began with KPMG Peat Marwick, in Chicago Illinois specializing in community banks.
Mark holds a BS in Accounting from the University of South Alabama. Mark’s education training includes extensive course work in strategic planning from various banking associations, and he received certification in financial management and planning, compliance and financial accounting early in his career. He is active in numerous financial services associations and has served on the Board of Directors for several organizations.
