Rabbi Yehuda Kroizer

Rabbi Yehuda Kroizer, shlit"a, was born in 1955 and raised in Jerusalem.  He received his rabbinical ordination from Yeshivat HaKotel in 1980 and served in the IDF Tank Corps.

In 1982 he accepted the position of community rabbi in Mitzpe Yericho, where he lives with his wife and family.

In 1987, Rabbi Kroizer assumed the role of Rosh Yeshiva of Yeshivat HaRa'ayon HaYehudi. He has become one of Israel's leading rabbinical experts on the Temple Mount.

In addition to his official duties at the yeshiva and Mitzpe Yericho, Rabbi Kroizer stays busy on the lecture circuit, visiting communities, schools and yeshivot to discuss the Temple Mount and other issues of vital importance to the Jewish people and Judaism. He has authored several scholarly publications on Halakhic issues relating to the Temple Mount.

The rabbi and his wife established a Jewish educational website called שי לש"י  in memory of their sons, Shlomo and Yishai Kroizer, who tragically passed away in a traffic accident in 2007.
