Sports Activities

In accordance with the Club's Constitution and recognising that the key purpose of forming the Club is to promote sport in the Kosciuszko National Park, the Club has appointed a Sports Officer to encourage sport among members and others using the Lodge. The Sports Officer is Conrad Sinclair.

For details of some important sporting events, see the SLOPES website.

Part of the role of Sports Officer is to co-ordinate the promotion of sport within the Club. One way of doing this is via the weekly Club Captains reports. There is scope to record in these reports all activities promoting sport, including the hours of paid and unpaid ski lessons taken and provided by users of the Lodge, in the week covered by the report. That data is complied by the Sports Officer for reporting to the Annual General Meeting each year. Club Captains are asked to diligently complete their reports with this data.
