Knoll Park

William purchased Portion 9 RP 12742, close to Eudlo Creek and running along the length of what would become Maroochydore Road.


The land had been initially selected by William Peter Clark -

William Parsons named it Knoll Park after one of the farms in Somerset.

When William died in 1914, the land was administered by The Queensland Trustees Ltd as the daughters were under age to inherit the property.


Across the road, you can see another portion with the initials of W.E.C Parsons who selected Portion -

BY 1902, William won a special prize at the 1902 Maroochy Show held at Woombye for his dairy farm at Knoll Park. He also won prizes for arrowroot tubers and cheddar cheese which he made from his dairy cattle.
