The MIISSC symposium is an annual event that brings together graduate students at various stages of research and dissertation-writing who approach the study of Islamicate thought and life across time and space through a multiplicity of disciplinary approaches such as history, political science, anthropology, religious studies, law, philosophy, and literature. The forum is open to graduate students from McGill, as well as from other universities in Canada and other parts of the world.
