Heritage Fair 2025 is September 20, 2025
Make your device and bring it to Heritage Fair. Register for the contest at the Everett Church of the Brethren booth. Contests start at 2:00 p.m.
$10.00 entry fee payable at registration
Peeps Punkin Chunkin Rules
Individual/team will launch marshmallow “Peeps” pumpkins using a device they have made and brought to the festival.
There will be categories for Trebuchet and Catapult
There will be two age divisions – 12 and under and 13 and over
Devices must fit in a 2 foot by 2 foot footprint with a throwing arm no longer than 3 feet.
Counterweight for trebuchet must be no heavier than one person on the team can set.
Torsion band for catapult must be able to be set by one person on the team
Distance will be measured from the starting line to the point the “peep” pumpkin first touches the ground.
Each device will have 2 chances to launch. Best distance will be counted for awards. If the device crosses the start line during launching, that launch will be disqualified. Decision of the judge is final.
“Peeps” for the contest will be provided. No alterations to the marshmallow pumpkins will be permitted.
Heritage Fair 2025
Heritage Fair is September 20, 2025! Our annual festival will be held at Camp Blue Diamond on Saturday, September 20. There will be food, children’s activities, an auction. Dunk tank, crafts and demonstrations. We are celebrating being able to join together with church friends and family.
Will your church participate this year? Begin making plans for what your congregation will do. Food and craft booths, games, be creative and think outside the box!
Heritage Fair
Heritage Fair is Saturday, September 20 at Camp Blue Diamond. Breakfast will be served in the lodge beginning at 6:30 am and various churches will have homemade soup, baked goods, crafts and much more beginning around 8:30 am. Children's area will have games, cookie painting, scarecrow making and the saw dust pile. There will be music. Auction and Pumpkin Fest! Something for everyone!
Auction Donations
We are looking for donations for the auction. Theme baskets, gift baskets, business donations, woodworking, and other creative ideas. Your donations help support the ministries of camp and district. The auction will begin at 11:00 am. Churches and individuals are asked to have their donations to the tent by 9:00 am. If you prefer to drop donations off sooner or before the day of, please contact Kris at 814-643-0601.
Polar Bear Plunge
The Plunge will take place at 7 am down at the beach. How can you participate? Just sign up! Churches can sponsor a Polar Bear by raising money to cover the minimum entry fee of $50. If you'd rather take the Plunge on your own, you can cover the entry fee yourself!
Dunk the Dunker
The popular dunk tank will be at Heritage Fair this year. Get your pitching arm warmed up!
Volunteers
Volunteers are needed to help with parking, children's area, and auction. Please let us know if you can help for an hour or two.
