Nutrition guidance will be included in the EYFS September 2025, to replace the current guidance. Ofsted have confirmed they will inspect providers in line with the requirements in the EYFS and, if they note concerns around safe or healthy eating, inspectors will aim to find out from settings why they are not using the guidance.
Sarah and Becca have both completed the training webinar about the changes,
EYFS Nutrition Guidance and consequently, we have updated our Food and Nutrition Policy, please just ask to read it.
We also have a Safer Eating Policy in place.
All meals and snacks are prepared under qualification of food safety guidelines.
In February 2025, we achieved the top recognition from The Allergy School for demonstrating our commitment to being food allergy friendly.
