Yourself
You have to understand how you best learn. When you know your learning style you can match it with your professors teaching style much easier. Learning can happen in many ways. You can learn through playing, through trial and error, making mistakes, succeeding, repetition, through environmental conditioning, from your parents discipline style, observation, social interactions, and of course in a school setting. And there are definitely many more way to learn. But you have to know your learning style and this can be done by a simple test or just knowing yourself. For myself i was unsure so i did a test from the book Cornerstones for Community College Success. Here is a link to a test you could take to see what your learning style might be.
