Temporary Technical Staff

Military Communications System Engineering Department, ASELSAN Electronics Industries, Ankara, Turkey

I worked as a temporary technical staff, from February 2003 to July 2003, when I was a senior in college. I participated in various projects:

• Took part in the field tests of TASMUS. TASMUS is the nationally developed tactical communications system for Turkish Army. He worked in IP part and particularly on the configuration of routers/switches.
• Participated in the first stages of the TASMUS Wi-Fi PCMCIA card design project. Investigated theoretical pros. & cons. of 802.11a, b, g and Bluetooth technologies.
• Set up and investigated wireless (802.11, Bluetooth) devices (access points, laptops, cameras) and their connectivity, participated in testing of commercial product.
