Scrum for Scrum Masters

This training (taken from goskills.com) is designed to educate the trainee about the Scrum Process and the role of the Scrum Master. The Scrum Master is a highly sought after position in many industries including software development, marketing, education and design. Scrum Masters are valued leaders responsible for driving team performance by removing obstacles, facilitating meetings and improving communication.

The training included 37 lessons with following trainee objectives: "Understand the roles of Scrum Master, Product Owner, and Scrum Team," "Know the steps in planning and executing an Agile/Scrum project," "Understand the organizational impact of using Agile/Scrum for project management," "Recognize the differences between Sequential, Concurrent, and Agile project management and know when to use each approach," "Understand how to use the Agile/Scrum tools of Story Cards, Product Backlog, Scrum Boards, and Burn-down Charts, " "Refers to the Project Management Institute's Agile Certified Practitioner Handbook"

Scrum for Team Members

This training (taken from goskills.com) is designed to educate the trainee about the Scrum Process and the role of the Scrum Team Members. Motivated Scrum team members are in high demand in many industries including software development, marketing, education and design. Scrum team members form a self-organizing and empowered team responsible for delivering a high quality outcome, and are integral to project success.

The training included 21 lessons with following trainee objectives:  "Understand the roles of Scrum Master and Scrum Team," "Know the steps in planning and executing an Agile/Scrum project," "Understand the organizational impact of using Agile/Scrum for project management," "Recognize the differences between Sequential, Concurrent, and Agile project management and know when to use each approach," "Project Management Institute's Agile Certified Practitioner Handbook."

Technology-Mediated Course Delivery

This training is designed to prepare the instructors for teaching a fully online or mixed mode course. It familiarizes the instructor with the design elements of the course and helps the instructor succeed in the delivery of the course. The course addresses many important pedagogical, logistical, and technological issues involved in delivering effective online courses.

Teaching with Lecture Capture

This training is designed to prepare the instructors for teaching a video lecture capture course. It addresses how to incorporate pedagogical techniques into a course that uses video as its primary content, how to integrate other technology components, and best practices for V/RV course modality.

CANVAS Training

This training is designed to prepare the instructors for using CANVAS in Best Course Design Practices, Managing the Syllabus Space, Configuring the Assignment Index, Course Content Building and Organization, Types of Assignments & Assessments, Grading and Feedback.

FERPA Training

This training is designed to provide important information regarding the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), which is the US federal law that protects student records privacy review and disclosure rights.  It also specifies that faculty and staff in most circumstances may not disclose personally-identifiable information about students or release educational records to 3rd parties without receiving written and signed consent.
