Rate my Course
Project Description and Comments: Rate My Professor is a web based application. The goal of this application is to give college students the opportunity to give ratings and reviews to different courses in the curriculum. It is useful for both students, who are planning to take these courses, as well as the professors, who can understand the sources of confusion and difficulties in each course.
PI Remote
Project Description and Comments: An iOS Application that can control Raspberry PI devices remotely via the Internet. The iPhone app has an easy-to-use interface that resembles a graphical command system interface with buttons and other user interface elements.
Chrona Machina
Project Description and Comments: Chrona Machina (https://stranger-space.itch.io/chrona-machina) is a Bullet Hell Space Shooter game. The user controls a spaceship with the ability to stop and start time. When time is stopped, all enemies and projectiles are frozen in place, and cannot move until time is started again.
Net Escape
Project Description and Comments: “Net Escape” is about researching the viability of a network simulation tool, OMNET++, used by a wide range of consumers to simulate cyber-attacks, enabling the consumer to be able to make amendments to their security programs.
Life Counter
Project Description and Comments: Life Counter is a mobile-friendly web application designed to provide real-time updates on player life totals for the Magic: The Gathering card game. The web application includes a lobby system where viewers can enter a lobby by using a code given to them by the host and watch the match unveil in real-time.
Vamos
Project Description and Comments: Vamos is a tourist social media application that uses location services to show nearby attractions for visitors. Categorized by location and activities, users can submit personal videos and photographs, which provides a crowd-sourced database of tourist content.
Bake Sale
Project Description and Comments: Bake Sale is an educational JavaScript game that is marketed towards younger children, 7-10 years old, to teach and reinforce understanding of fractions and decimals. A bake sale theme is chosen as it allows fractions to be taught during the baking portion.
The Fight Within
Project Description and Comments: A top-down dungeon crawler game where the goal is to descend down the floors of a dungeon. Each floor of the dungeon is randomly generated and populated with enemies, traps, and treasure.
Fantasy Strategy RPG
Project Description and Comments: Fantasy Strategy RPG is a Java based video game. The setting of this game is in a fictional fantasy world where combat is completed through turn-based sequences that turn order is determined by the speed of a unit.
Web Crawling
Project Description and Comments: The project is a Web Crawling app that can browse through websites and recover necessary information. The app searches Wikipedia and store the Title, Author, and URL of pages to use the information at a later date.
Ablaze
Project Description and Comments: The project is a puzzle game entitled “Ablaze.” In this game the user plays as a fire sprite and use a magical leaf on the journey as a tool to help the user pass many challenges and puzzles and complete the level.
Mini-game compilation
Project Description and Comments: The project is a mobile game for IPhone and Android. The project primarily consists of two mini-games, where each mini-game is a short, independent game that gives the player a score based on their performance.
