The following is the testimony of a lady who had fibromyalgia but has been healed, possibly because of using Celtic Salts. This seems to be in agreement with the article http://preventdisease.com/news/13/030713_Scientists-Officially-Link-Processed-Foods-To-Autoimmune-Disease.shtml about possible problems with refined salt.
As far as minerals for years we have been buying distilled water and drinking it exclusively. This along with the use of processed salt and buying food in the store which is probably lacking vitamins and minerals may have led to me having a mineral deficiency. We drank distilled water because our house well water in Florida was so nasty tasting and spring water is often fluoridated and chlorinated. Even after we moved to Boone, NC we used distilled water because the water was fluoridated and chlorinated. After we moved again in May of 2012 to Roan Mountain, here we enjoy have wonderful clean and delicious sweet well water which is from the mountains here.
Since we moved to the mountains in September of 2011, I have been racking my as to what I had done differently that may have made me better as far as fibromyalgia. I’d come up with nothing except the Lord had healed me, which is what I have been telling everyone. I still do think this is the case, however I am now inclined to believe that through this circumstance with an odd acquaintance giving me a bag of Celtic Salt just before we moved here, perhaps the Lord arranged this knowing exactly what I needed. So in fact, I still see that it was the Lord who worked this miracle in my health. It used to be I would rarely have a good day and if I did I would do normal busy physical activity, but the next day I would be in bed from pain because of it. People with fibromyalgia don’t want to do any exercise for this very reason because the next day is so painful. Now I can stand and cook for hours and clean the house all day and be nearly pain free and have not have any repercussions with pain the next day. Only on a rare occasion do I become totally exhausted but this is usually associated with my not eating enough calories or not getting enough rest, but even when this happens, after a little rest, I am able to go back to working and the next day I feel no pain from being physically active the day before. I can think of nothing I’ve done differently other than used that little bag of Celtic Salt from August of 2011 to May of 2012.
Before we moved in late August of 2011, I couldn’t pack up my own house. My sister and friends from church packed my house as I could not. Shortly after we moved to Boone, NC the landlord told us they didn’t want us to stay in the house we had rented because I have a Macaw and a few other birds. He knew in advance that I had a birds and a Macaw but until he saw the big bird he didn’t know what a Macaw was. That is why we had to move again, and since we knew we would have to move again, I stopped unpacking and didn’t unpack anything else but what we absolutely needed until we found another place to move to. During that exact period we after we moved in September of 2011 I could not find my regular supply of processed salt, but among the few boxes I did unpack I came across that Celtic salt. Thereafter I exclusively used Celtic Salt in cooking and did not use processed salt except for what was in processed foods we consumed. During this period from September 2011 to May of 2012, I found that I was steadily gaining both endurance and strength and was with less muscular pain. Over time my endurance kept getting better and eventually I had no pain. I also have noticed my thinking has become clearer. Bilateral pain points on my body which are diagnostic for fibromyalgia became far less tender and all of them have become much smaller in size. My sleep patterns which were horrendous had improved. All of these problems are associated with fibromyalgia and all of them have slowly left me.
To prove how much better I became, I put in a large garden in May of 2012 all by myself and I tended it all summer by myself. I also helped a friend move from his huge home (it was a 20,000 square feet Mansion) and, I single handed, packed his entire house up. The men did the lifting but I packed every room over the course a little more than one week. In late August I went to Ohio alone and stayed with my mother for 6 months as she had pneumonia, I assumed the care of her home and did all of her shopping, cleaning and cooking for us. So you can see how there was such a dramatic change in my physical ability. My husband entirely agrees that I am nearly my old self now.
After we moved again in May of 201 to Roan Mountain, Tennessee I lost my package of Celtic Salt because this h house we are living in now is still under construction and has no kitchen so I haven’t been able to unpack much since we moved here last May. I just happened to find the Celtic Salt a few weeks ago in going through some boxes looking for things I need. I hadn’t used the Celtic Salt since last May but there is still is about an ounce left. However, since living in Roan Mountain, we no longer buy distilled water, I have been drinking the clean mountain water here which no doubt has minerals. After reading this article that David sent I am certainly going to throw away my processed Salt and start using Celtic Salt exclusively. I will buy a good supply of it as soon as I can get to Boone where there is the nearest health food store.
Based on my experience, I would now recommend to anyone having auto immune issues to try replacing processed salt with a natural unprocessed salt like Celtic Salt.
