Girls & Boys Ages K-5th
Our Cub Scouts meet at least once a month in grade specific dens and once a month in a combined K-5th grade Pack meeting. We are accepting both boys and girls and are the primary unit for Minshew, McClure, and Glen Oaks Elementary.

Our Cub Scouts learn outdoor skills, safety, we go hiking and camping with our families, build and race pinewood derby cars, serve our community, and much more. Scouting is a great way to make new friends and share exciting adventures together.

Parent volunteers make the Cub Scout program work and are essential for youth to have a great Scouting experience! At Pack 496 we believe every Scout needs a trained leader and volunteering is the best way to model the Scout Oath and Scout Law.

Scouting & Popcorn!
Popcorn sales is a fantastic way for our Scouts to learn about setting goals, persuasion skills, perseverance, and of course math skills! It is also a money generator for our Pack. The money earned goes towards more and better adventures, making for a well rounded Scouting experience. Without this fundraising effort we wouldn't have a Pack at all so it's important for all of us to put our salesmanship skills to work!
