EPCOT DVD: American Adventure plus 2 Featurettes that reveal Backstage Secrets!

This DVD contains three segments. Two of the segments are featurettes that contain backstage footage and secrets about Walt Disney World's Imagineers magic, audioanimatronics, and much more. The third segment is the entire American Adventure show from EPCOT Center in Orlando Florida.

The American Adventure is a triumph that will delight visitors to World Showcase no matter their age or background. This is home to perhaps the finest Disney show in the world - also called The American Adventure. The history of our nation told through stunning Audio-Animatronics on a stage large enough for a major Broadway production is guaranteed to make your heart race and your eyes tear.

Housed in a vast Georgian-style structure, The American Adventure is a 29-minute dramatization of U.S. history, utilizing a 72-foot rear-projection screen, rousing music, and a large cast of lifelike audio-animatronic figures, including narrators Mark Twain and Ben Franklin. The adventure begins with the voyage of the Mayflower and encompasses major historic events. You'll view Jefferson writing the Declaration of Independence, Matthew Brady photographing a family about to be divided by the Civil War, the stock market crash of 1929 (but not the crash of Disney stock in 1999 and 2000), Pearl Harbor, and the Eagle heading toward the moon. Teddy Roosevelt discusses the need for national parks. Susan B. Anthony speaks out on women's rights; Frederick Douglass, on slavery; and Chief Joseph, on the plight of Native Americans. It's one of Disney's best historical productions. Entertainment includes the Spirit of America Fife & Drum Corps and Voices of Liberty, an a cappella group that sings patriotic songs, and AMERICAN VYBE, featuring the sounds of swing, jazz, and gospel.

Total length of DVD is right at 1 hour.

This is home video footage so the quality varies. The lengths of my DVDs vary. However, I try to keep them close to one hour. This ensures the highest quality images. Disk(s) are in plain CD/DVD enveloped and shipped in a bubble mailer.
