Introduction

select something that is parented to a figure

mcjmovehiptopinthis will go through a range of animation frames

and moves the parent-figure just the right amount to keep the selected something immobile

i forgot i published a script like this before !

Installation

The zip package is found at the bottom of this page

unzip it in your daz content folder,

typically :

C:\Users\USERNAME\Documents\DAZ 3D\Studio\My Library

once installed, it will appear in your content library, under

My Library / Scripts / mcasual

Starting with Windows 7 if you right click on the downloaded zip file

and select the [Extract All ....] pop-up menu item

you simply browse up to your Daz Studio Content Folder

and the files will fall in the proper folder

Use

select something that is parented to a figure

select the reference frame, usually the current frame

the script will attempt to keep your selected object at the position it occupies at that frame

select the range of frames to be processed

often that's the current playrange

select the step between processed frames

usually the step is 1

click the "Go" button
