Il quadro come il sogno, lascia intravvedere.Una similitudine, forse azzardata, mi fa porre da un lato lo scrittore William Butler Yeats e la sua affermazione “nei sogni inizia la responsabilità” e dall'altro la pittura.Dipingendo, abbandoniamo i freni inibitori, entriamo in contatto con le nostre emozioni e ci spingiamo in una dimensione profonda e onirica. Perdendo e ritrovando noi stessi.Non è facile, nella cultura occidentale, accettare di essere attraversati dalle emozioni, accettare che il nostro corpo le veicoli, accettare di essere parte di un percorso spirituale evolutivo,fino a liberarci verso possibili mondi, o mondi possibili.Alla base di tutto vi è il tentativo di riscoprire e salvare noi stessi, per andare a recuperare nel profondo la nostra essenza, ben celata dietro a tutte le tensioni e i traumi accumulati negli anni.Ma non c’è salvezza o evoluzione che non passi attraverso un strumento potente come il corpo. Corpo e anima sono strettamente collegate e solo insieme possono portarci alla scoperta del nostro io più vero ed essenziale, solo insieme possono guidarci in un viaggio iniziatico alla scoperta di noi stessi, spesso sfuggendo alle regole della “normalità” e con arrivi in porti inaspettati.Come nel caso delle opere che compongono il mio personale “viaggio” artistico.
The painting, like the dream, lets us glimpse. With a similitude, perhaps risky, I put on the one hand the writer William Butler Yeats and his assertion "in dreams begin responsibility", and on the other the painting.By painting, we abandon the inhibitory restraints, we get in touch with our emotions, pushing ourselves into a deep and dreamlike dimension, losing and finding ourselves.It is not easy, in Western culture, to accept being go through by the emotions, to accept that our body is the vehicle. It's very hard to accept being part of an evolutionary spiritual path, until we free ourselves towards "Possible Worlds".At the basis of everything there is the attempt to rediscover and save ourselves, recovering our essence that is well hidden behind all the tensions and traumas accumulated over the entire life.But there is no deliverance or evolution that does not pass through a powerful instrument like the body.Body and soul are closely connected, mutually they lead us towards the discovery of our truest and most essential Self, showing us an initiatory journey to discover ourselves, escaping the rules of "normality" for reaching an unexpected haven.As in the case of the works that make up my personal artistic "journey".
