Brief Introduction: Dr.Takuma Matsuda is a Professor, Faculty of Commerce and Graduate School of Commerce, Takushoku University. His academic areas are maritime economics, container shipping and logistics and transportation economics. He got academic awards from Japan Society of Logistics and Shipping Economics and Japan Logistics Society. He graduated from College of Socio-Economic Planning of University of Tsukuba, took Master’s Degree in Economics at the University of Tokyo, and he got Ph.D. degree at Tokyo Institute of Technology. He is also a visiting researcher at the Japan Maritime Center.
