Growth mindset is the belief that you can develop abilities through effort and hard work. In relation to education there are certain key characteristics of a growth mindset.
Teachers or students with a growth mindset:

1. Observe students in your classroom and how their number sense skills.
2. Complete Math/Social Studies Checkpoint 1 to the folder in D2L.
3. Choose a lesson from http://www.doe.virginia.gov/instruction/mathematics/elementary/number_sense_module/nns_modules_2012.pdf that could be used with your grade level to practice number sense skills. Be ready to teach that plan to your peers.
