Scholarship

Qualifications: 

1.    Available to all youth and young adults under 25 as of Jan. 1st  who have been active members in the Maryland Brown Swiss Association for at least *two consecutive years and are current paid members.

2.     Applicants must be enrolled in a two or four year college program OR an industry trade or continuing education program (examples; Animal Nutrition, Hoof Trimming, AI, Diesel Mechanic, etc.)  Preference is given to applicants pursuing certification or a degree in an agricultural related field.

3.    Application must be filled out completely and signed.

4.    Ample space is provided on the forms however, additional space or paper can be used if needed.

5.    Applicants are eligible to enter and can win a scholarship twice or for a total amount not to exceed $3000. Awarded amounts are based on the generosity of our members and sponsors and are at the discretion of the Board of Directors and Scholarship Committee.
