Maryland Ambassadors will represent our state association at local, state, and national events & shows.
Maryland Ambassadors will represent our state association at local, state, and national events & shows.
Requirements of duty and guidelines can be found in the Ambassador Handbook.
Qualifications:
Be a member of the Maryland Brown Swiss Association and not belong to another State’s Junior Association (if applicable).
Open to both male and females between the ages of 15 and 21 as of January 1st of the current year.
If under 18, have parental consent.
Is not married, and must not marry during their reign.
Will not hold other titles during their reign as Ambassador unless National Ambassador.
Have a genuine interest in promoting the dairy industry, Brown Swiss Breed and the consumption of its products.
Must own or lease at least 1 Brown Swiss animal
The Ambassador may only serve 1 year unless otherwise approved by the Youth Advisor.
