Invitation to the All American Brown Swiss Futurity for 2022, Harrisburg, PA.

The 2022 All-American Brown Swiss Futurity will be focused on the promotion of the Brown Swiss Breed, and will highlight an outstanding class of 2-year-olds. All states and exhibitors are welcome to enter and participate in this “Jackpot” payout with the Winner takes all in the Open show – and the Junior Show! This is an approach to stimulate interest in the breeding and exhibiting outstanding Brown Swiss! It will recognize the accomplishments of the small and the large breeder, as well as the Juniors. This event is showcased at the prestigious All-American show which has entries from so many states, and is considered one of the elite National shows of the year, held in Harrisburg, PA. This year’s Judge for this National Show is Richard “RT” Thompson, Random Luck Farm, Wisconsin. No stranger to the Brown Swiss arena, RT has judged numerous local dairy shows, in addition to the North West National Brown Swiss Show, the Quebec Summer Brown Swiss Show, and the Illinois State Show. He has won many All American honors, reserve All Americans, and many nominations. The show will be on Wednesday September 21, 2022.
The 2-year-old Futurity is Exhibitor friendly with a “one-time” payment of $30.00 payable by August 21, 2022. A late entry deadline is September 10, 2022 and is a payment of $50.00. And if you missed those, a late entry check- in payment will be a $100.00.
So, we invite and encourage all eligible entries for this year, designating this as No. 2, and will be consecutively numbered going forward.
Brown Swiss enthusiasts and the All-American Dairy Show are looking forward to hosting this “Best of the Show” as the greatest group of 2-year-olds assemble in Harrisburg on September 21. The All-American Futurity will start right after the Yearling in Milk class, and to clarify—the Futurity animals are also eligible to enter their respective classes in the Jr. or Sr. 2-year-old classes for the show and paying the entry fee for the class.
The 2021 winner was Buschs Famous Jenna, an outstanding Sr. 2-year-old, who went on to win the Intermediate Champion of the show, and owned by Peter Vail, FL. And the winning Jr. was Austin Heilinger with the entry of Heilinger Silver War, also a Sr. 2-year-old, and placed third overall in the Futurity class. “We are expecting great quality again for this year’s Futurity,” said the All American Futurity committee.
