Mary Jane Vial: new pages

Six new pages have been added to the site, and one page has been extensively revised. 'Mrs Clairmont' and her daughter gives a brief biographical sketch of Mary Jane Vial, Claire Clairmont's mother and the second Mrs Godwin. Mary Jane Vial: secrets and lies introduces some of the anomalies, gaps and contradictions in accounts of MJV's life. These are examined in more detail in sub-pages:
