Various research topics are available for a two-month lab rotation. You will get some hands-on introductions to modern computational methods used in mathematical biology. Interest? Sent me an email.
Aims:
Learning outcomes: By the end of the lab rotation the students are able to solve PDEs of diffusion-type (parabolic equations) by software tools such as AUTO and XPP-Aut (software for continuation and bifurcation problems).
We also offer lab rotations on
to investigate flicker-light induced and other visual phenomena, their frequency dependence and the various form features of hallucinatory percepts.
