I am a senior economist at the International Monetary Fund (IMF), currently working as the IMF Resident Representative to Gabon, in Central Africa.

Before the IMF, I worked and lectured in several institutions and universities in Brazil, Europe, and the US; including the European Central Bank, the United Nations, the University of Amsterdam, and CEPII and Sciences Po in Paris.

My research covers the fields of Macroeconomics, International Economics, and Finance.  Its main focus is on fiscal policy. Yet, I am also working on other topics spanning from exchange rates to economic growth.
