Time period: Archery was most popular between 1046 B.C. and 771 B.C., and is still played today.
Description: Archery was an essential part of education for accomplished gentlemen, and training usually began at the age of 15.
How it was played: Six archers would be selected who would be divided into three groups, two archers in each group. The match would have three rounds; one archer shot four arrows in each round. 1st round was preliminary, in the 2nd round hosts and guests would join, and in the 3rd round music was played and archers had to shoot on beat to the music. This is how traditional tournaments were done.
