Two limited edition TAG Heuer watches, one is the F1 series Indy 500 2020 limited edition chronograph, and the other is the Fragment Design co-branded chronograph. The TAG Heuer F1 Indy 500 2020 Limited Edition Chronograph is to celebrate the brand's 16th year as the official timekeeper of NTT INDYCAR SERIES, and to pay tribute to the 104th Indianapolis 500 Mile Grand Prix (hereinafter referred to as Indy 500). Limited to 1500 pieces worldwide.
The watch is jointly created by the replica TAG Heuer and INDYCAR team. It has a 43 mm diameter and uses a black DLC-coated sandblasted stainless steel case. The black ceramic bezel is engraved with the red "Indy 500" lettering and tachymeter scale. The color of the dial is mainly black, with the "red brick decoration" of the Indianapolis circuit, and the counter at 6 o'clock is decorated with the Indy 500 logo.
In August 1909, the Indianapolis circuit was opened to the public for the first time. At that time, the circuit was paved with gravel and tar, which caused many accidents. Afterwards, due to safety concerns, the circuit was changed to 3.2 million. The bricks weighing 10 pounds were re-laid, and the reputation of the "brick factory" spread wildly among car fans. Over time, the bricks were paved with asphalt, and only a 1-yard wide strip of red brick pavement remained at the start/finish line. This has also achieved the legendary charm of the Indianapolis circuit. To this day, champion drivers still continue the celebratory tradition of "kissing the bricks" on their knees.
