Although Plot of the Fuma Clan (known commonly abroad as The Fuma Conspiracy) was planned as an OVA, after going over-budget it was briefly screened in theaters before its home video release. It was, as a result, advertised as the fourth theatrical Lupin feature, following Legend of the Gold of Babylon.
