2022
Librarian’s Note:
Warm greetings.
After the lockdown, 2022 will be the transition period between new normal forecasts to actual practice. Face-to-face classes in the college level is still limited but economic movement and activity is thriving.
The library is faced with gaps in collection, staffing and space. Enrolment has grown to almost twice the numbers before pandemic, and the challenge to accommodate the needs of every patron is slowly affecting the service. While, client transactions may have grown, library resources have stagnated. This year, the library would work harder to augment their resources.
The previous year shows a gradual shift to full utilization of available technology options to manage pandemic risk while providing the best of what the library can offer. And in 2022, the growth of collection and access to information will be the primary focus of the University Library.
