Longhorsley WI
Paul Mein, a poet and writer from Warkworth, came to our last meeting and hugely entertained us. Whether speaking in his normal voice or in a Geordie accent his poems were a delight and proved that poetry does not always have to rhyme.
It was also a pleasure at the meeting to welcome two new Members who we hope will enjoy our activities.
We meet next on Thursday 6th April at 7.30pm when Hilary Fielding will talk about going East to India and Cambodia.
