Pack 997 invites Scouts and parents a STEM NOVA workshop to complete the Down & Dirty SuperNova requirement. To complete this requirement, scouts must also have attended the Children's Museum of Natural History field trip.
At this workshop scouts will complete the watch and discuss requirement by watching selected videos together about Earth science (weather, geology, volcanoes, or oceanography). Make a list of two questions or ideas and be ready to discuss two with a counselor. Please ensure the scout notes down two ideas or questions to discuss after watching the video.
Please note: This event is required in addition to the field trip for Wolves, Bears, Webelos, and Arrow of Light Scouts working toward their STEM Supernova Award.
