Who we are;- The business responsible for the processing of your personal information is Linda Gwatkin Counselling and Consultancy Services registered with the ICO.

How I collect information about you;- The personal information I hold about you is that which I collect directly from you, for example:
When you enquire about an appointment
When you book an introductory appointment
When you book appointments for as long as is necessary·
When you raise a concern with me
What I use your information for and the legal bases for processing ;- I may store and use your personal information for the purposes of:
Administering the counselling sessions you attend (as is necessary for performance of a contract between you and I).
Responding to your initial enquiry received by email or telephone call (consent for the specified purpose).
I may, where necessary pass any health information to a relevant authority where I believe your wellbeing is at risk (as is necessary in the vital interests of the data subject)
Who I share your data with;- Where relevant given the nature of the service we provide to you, we may need to share your information with the following categories of third parties:

How long your information is kept;- I will retain your personal information for as long as you continue to attend our sessions together, and this is destroyed when we have finished working together. However, under my insurance I am legally bound to keep your details on record for 7 years and for a young person , 5 years after the age of 18.
